Page 1: Key information right up front

Billing and contact details
1. Your fuel type, such as water, so you can quickly identify the service your bill covers.
2. The bill issue date and tax invoice number for reference and record keeping.
3. Key contact details for faults, emergencies, and Energy Ombudsman if you need help or assistance.

Accounts details
4. Your meter number - you can also find these details on your meter, and your account number.

Amount Due
5. The amount you need to pay, along with the due date.

Payment methods
6. Your payment section outlines the available payment options, including the relevant biller codes and reference numbers for each method. If you are set up for direct debit, it will also show the amount to be debited and the scheduled payment date.

Plan summary
7. At the top of page 2, you’ll find details of your current water plan, including the plan name and any applicable customer benefits or discounts.

Usage charges
8. Your usage and charges for this billing period are itemised by tariff type and charge period, showing the usage quantity, applicable rates, and total charges for each category, with a final total amount at the end.

Meter reads
9. This section provides information about the meter readings used to calculate your water bill for the billing period. It includes your meter number, previous and current read date and reading plus your total usage.

Usage summary
10. Here, you can view how your monthly water usage changes over time.

Assistance and support / other information
11. You’ll see important messages here about interpreter services, payment assistance, and services offered, with additional details sometimes continuing onto page 3.
